The creation of the logo consists of a basketball going inside a hoop and a pair of crossed baseball bats that are right behind the net and basketball. I created the basketball like a smooth minimalized basketball that has an official look and doesn’t have that much design on it other than the lines and my initials. I made the basketball in a brighter orange gradient in order to make it stick out so as to not be transparent when compared to the dark blue that is dominant throughout the logo. I chose a dark navy blue and bright orange because that is my favorite color combination and it is appealing to my eyes when I look at it.

              

I put the baseball bats in the background layer because in my past I was more involved in baseball and it is still a loved sport of mine and in the present I am more involved in baseball which explains why the basketball and hoop are in the front. I made the initials that are located in the basketball have a straight smooth look too the “Z” and a more loopy variation in the C.
